| Rooms Outdoor – Metamorphic Spaces With space limited in urban areas and ever-increasing house prices coupled with the cost of moving, demand for Rooms Outdoor has rocketed. Our clever solutions create flexible spaces that can perform different functions at different times of the day as well as create alternative leisure or work zones for different members of the family. Aesthetically pleasing our environmentally-friendly, housing-standard outdoor rooms bridge the gap between the existing house and unused garden space. By creating rooms which meet the demands of today’s modern lifestyles, a garden room will not only add contemporary style but may also increase the value of your property. |
To view an example of our work visit Diarmuid Gavin’s Westland Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, which is designed for an active and artistic mature couple. It includes a curved edge pavilion clad in beautiful western red cedar with two wings that intersect, providing two glass studio spaces, each with its own deck overlooking a pond. The unique design is intended to express the couple's eclectic taste in art and sculpture and represents a giant leap forward in the design of garden rooms one we which are very pleased to be associated with. Solid oak timber boards have been used for the floors throughout the pavilion. Rainwater is collected from the roof to water and top-up the pond. The internal and external lights are controlled by wireless remote control allowing the atmosphere and tone to be adjusted according to the required mood. Bubble chairs suspended from the curved fascia on the open deck provide a place for relaxing, reading, dreaming and gazing. | |
