French Douglas Cladding

Renowned for its natural durability, insulation qualities and dimensional stability the external timber is the finest engineered tongue and groove cladding available. Solid lengths of kiln-dried French Douglas are machined, finger jointed and glued (waterproof resourcinol glue) to form a glulaminated board. The timber is then vacuum pressure treated and given a further slow heat treatment. The timber is certified and has a 10-year structural guarantee with full technical specification, including a fire rating. No other timber offers such a comprehensive specification.
